The color will suit most decors as will the pattern. This came rolled rather than folded (as many do) and that was a big plus...no creases to settle, though takes a day or two to lay flat. Got this for a special area in the basement - and it's a perfect fit. It is not super plush, and you need to keep that in mind. It will easily go under furniture (if you need it to), or as a piece to "pull a room together". Very easy to vacuum, and thin padding underneath is a good idea. Its the perfect size for my space and probably most spaces as well. It also has a basic design that could fit into just about any decor. The design also looks just like the pictures on the product page which is a nice feature. Too often, when ordering online, you open a product and the colors or designs look totally different than you were expecting. That's not the case with the rug. I really like how soft it feels beneath my bare feet. Its thick and spongy, but not too thick and spongy. And because its not too thick, it remains easy to clean- either via vacuum or shaking/ beating by hand (its not too large and heavy to lift and shake!) While $90+ dollars does seem a bit expensive, it might just be worth it because of how durable and comfortable it is. The stitching and weave look to be done with great care so I have great faith this rug will survive all the abuse it will receive in my multi-dog home.
