Handles are hollow metal and the knife is quite noisy when tossed or dropped on a glass, stone or quartz countertop.

Knives maintain their edge reasonably well, but I've already had to send them out to be pansharpened within the first six months of use, and I'm very conscience about taking good care of my kitchen knives. Handles are hollow metal and the knife is quite noisy when tossed or dropped on a glass, stone or quartz countertop.
