It is designed for use on polyurethane (PU) coated / laminated waterproof fabrics and will only adhere to the PU coated side of the fabric (it will not adhere directly to un-coated nylon or polyester). Our seam tape quality T-2000X will normally adhere well to GoreTex 3 layer fabrics - this is a versatile tape and will also adhere to 2 layer fabrics. **Q: I have a raincoat made of ripstop nylon. The current clear seam tape is coming off. Would this likely work to re-cover the seams?** A: This should do the job. However please note that the tape will only adhere to the PU coating on the inner side of the rip-stop nylon so if the existing tape has pulled away the coating leaving just the nylon you will have a problem. Be very careful removing the existing tape to avoid this occurring - suggest you heat the tape with a domestic iron so it can be remover without damaging the waterproof PU coating. Best of luck. **Q: Will this work on canvas?** A: No but suggest you try our Seam tape T-2000X (22) which normally adheres well to canvas. **Q: Will this work on Sil-Nylon?** A: The Tape will only adhere to polyurethane (PU) coated nylon.
