Maybe mine was just a dud, but I ended up having to return it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I use it for vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) *by J***T on January 17, 2025* I purchased separate VNS ear clips. I had trouble because the ear's high electrical resistance didn't allow the unit to sense that it was connected. The intensity reset to zero when I tried to increase it. The ear clips touch the skin over a small area, unlike the larger skin patches that one would use for like back pain. The small area affects the resistance of the connection to the body. The unit will not allow the intensity to increase until it senses a connection. I placed a 100K ohm resistor across the leads of the ear clip, and the unit could sense the connection, which worked well. This solution may not be for everyone, but I noticed another reviewer had the same issue using regular patches. I don't know if I would need the resistor if I pre-wiped the ear with a saline solution around where the VNS ear clips touch.
