The same outer fabric as the Fjellduken original, only with PrimaLoft 170 g/m² filling. With a length of 220 cm, Jerven Fjellduken Extreme offers more space and leg room than the original and the thermo The wind deflector measures 102 x 220 cm. The outer material of the Fjellduken is fully aluminium coated and waterproof on the inside. Thanks to the aluminium coating, the heat is reflected back and kept in the insulation, just like a rescue blanket. The zippers open on both sides, sleeve openings and reinforced eyelets offer a variety of uses. So it can be used as a poncho, tarp, sleeping bag, sleeping bag cover, bean bag and even as a hammock. During tests by the Oulo Regional Institute in winter, at an outdoor temperature of -14°C, the temperature inside the closed Jerven Fjellduken Thermo was +15°C - a temperature difference of 29°C.
