Because print heads for obsolete HP Officejet L7680 printer are very hard to find. I ordered an "Original HP 88" print head that lasted for only ONE copy of paper, and quit working !! -- The original print head that came with the printer lasted for 12 years, new replacements only last few days, or no more than 2 weeks. May be different ink formula ??
