This had me concerned so I immediately connected the drive via USB to a Win10 desktop and started running an extended write test with HD Sentinel Pro. The drive has 18 days and 11 hours of power-on time before I started the test. This may sound like a lot of power-on time but it isn't for a NAS drive. After 24 hours, I'm happy to report that the drive passed the test with zero read/write errors and is not sitting in a NAS.
