The tabby cat will use the toy until it is completely broken open by his daily licking, kicking, and chewing. I'd say for him the toys last 3-4 weeks. I had been debating about buying this toy for my cats; they tend to be cats and play with a toy for a little then never look at it again. I finally caved and bought just one to see who would even like it. It was it a hit with 3 out of 4 cats going crazy for this banana. I have a special cat who never reacts to catnip so that didn't shock me he didn't like it. I bought three more to make sure everyone had their own banana plus an extra. It isn't the best quality because my boy cat put holes in it with his teeth the first few minutes of playing with it. After a month it has ripped at the seams a bit so one banana is now supervised play only. There's no crinkle so no noise when they play which is good the crinkle toys get annoying. I feel like it's a decent value for what you get if you get it on a B3G1 free deal that Amazon sometimes has or Chewy often has. It is very cute and I would buy again whenever I need to.
