He never outgrows them, he destroys them. I know he plays footie at break times but I honestly have no idea how he manages to break every pair of shoes he gets (sometimes with a month). So we thought we’d give these a try because of their 12 month guarantee. So far so good, he’s worn them three times so far and they still look just like they did out of the box. I can’t speak for their durabity at this point as he hasn’t had them long enough... but previous shoes have been known to show signs of damage after this period of time so I’m hopeful. I can’t give 5 stars for two reasons: 1). Haven’t had them long enough to provide a proper review. 2) The delivery. Although they were dispatched very quickly and arrived well before the expected due date, the shoes were unceremoniously dumped over my garden gate (in the pouring rain) and into a massive puddle. Thankfully the shoe box itself was wrapped in some very thick clear plastic although that didnt stop the box becoming a bit soggy. The delivery company was DX so I can’t blame Treads however wanted others to be aware of how the shoes may be delivered. Update (after four months of school wear) Without question the best and most durable pair of school shoes I’ve ever bought. They are still in almost perfect condition and after a quick polish today, they look as good as new meaning we don’t have to buy new shoes for the new school year. Amazing and i will definitely be buying again when needed. Review: Hope they eventually make it to school - These shoes look good and sturdy and I’m certain they will be great if the schools ever open again. Just my luck to order these to arrive just before the latest lockdown and by the time we open up again he will have grown out of them. But the look good and came nicely presented and they delivered them on the date promised., just should have bought him slippers or a bottle of gin for my wife to get us through home schooling. ## Features - GUARANTEE;12-MONTH INDESTRUCTIBLE GUARANTEE - Touch fasten design; The touch fasten rip tape allows easy on-off access and a made to measure feel - Dual fit technology; Removable foot bed to give your school shoes a wide or Standard fit option with more depth - Comfortable; Treads shoes feature a soft padded collar, shock absorbing sole & insole making this boy's school shoe the obvious choice - Long Lasting; Kids school shoes made with tough strong leather giving superb durability & comfort ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BDNZB1D | | Brand | TREADS | | Care instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Closure Type | Hook & Loop | | Closure type | Hook & Loop | | Colour | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 115 Reviews | | Heel Type | Flat | | Insole Material | Leather | | Model Name | Madrid | | Occasion Lifestyle | Comfort, Formal | | Occasion Type | Work | | Outer Material Type | Leather | | Outer material | Leather | | Pattern | solid | | Season | Summer | | Shoe Type | Flats | | Sole Material | Leather | | Sole material | Leather | | Special Feature | Adjustable | | Style Name | Madrid | | Toe Style | Round Toe | | UPC | 053163972318 | | lining-description | Leather | | material-type | Leather | ## Images ![TREADS Kids School Shoes Children’s Black Leather 12 Month Indestructible Guarantee, Touch Fasten Formal Footwear - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81L+TSH9KqL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good *by I***N on 11 April 2018* Bought these for my son who regularly goes through 3-4 pairs of school shoes per school year. Will probably buy again though. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/62870512-treads-kids-school-shoes-children-s-black-leather-12-month](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/62870512-treads-kids-school-shoes-children-s-black-leather-12-month) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
