I have the 4A large battery and I had read in the reviews that it lasts 20 minutes. In fairness, the only time I managed to deplete a full battery was by sanding two full railway sleepers in one go, really working hard on smoothing some areas and carving a few millimeters in some places I needed for a perfect joint. Most of my angle grinder jobs can be completed in less than 20 minutes and I really appreciate the convenience of having no cords or worrying about plugging it. If you need to do a heavier job, a corded one is advisory. I have even considered having one each, but in reality I dont have enough need of larger jobs to justify anything beyond this. It is heavy and sturdy, I have other 18V B&D tools so I can exchange batteries and by far this is the heaviest. I have sanded and carved wood, it was super reliable and I am delighted with it. I have bought a few 125 and 115mm standard discs and they all go perfect. I have both an 4A and an 1.5A B&D batteries. This item and the circular saw are not as strong with an 1.5A battery as with an 4A, even if fully charged.
