Then again my Kroger store brand "Afrin" nasal spray said it was gluten free so I realized people think it's in everything. **Q: I like medium hot is this very hot ?** A: The black is a low to medium heat. The flavor is outstanding There is definitely a sweetness to it. The guy that said it tastes like ketchup - I'd like to have his ketchup. I'd consider myself a medium heat level guy. I can handle killer hogs, howler monkey original, lingham hot sauce, gochujang and Cutino chipotle hot sauce with the Cutino Chipotle being probably near the limit of my heat. **Q: In one description it says ‘real black truffle’, and in another it says ‘black truffle oil’. Wondering which one? Our family likes real truffles but** A: Hi there! Thanks for stopping by our page :) We use both real truffle and an oil in our product. The oil helps give our product the silky smooth consistency rather than a water/vinegar based sauce! We look forward to serving you. Cheers. **Q: How many come in a pack?** A: I'm not sure, I ordered just one. But I'm on the path of reordering another. If you decide to go for it try it out on avacado toast with a fried egg. If you're here for flavor, buy with confidence assuming you enjoy truffles. This is absolutely fantastic. I couldn't say how many hot sauces I've bought and sampled over the years, but without question I'd put this in my top 5 as far as flavor is concerned. The truffle aspect is pronounced, but it's not the only thing you'll notice on the palate. I wouldn't have thought agave would go with the ingredients, but it's a nice touch, and the overall presentation is exceptional. Packaging is often an afterthought, but there is a lot of attention to detail here. The cap looking like a truffle is another distinctive factor. A few months back, I ended up doing a hot sauce tasting with a lineup of ~12 sauces with varying scoville ratings. (Similar to hot ones) Six people participated, and five of us chose this sauce as their personal favorite. The last person placed it a close second. Would be nice if this was a little cheaper, but it's not a local product and I get that truffle oil isn't exactly an inexpensive ingredient. Will definitely be a repeat customer. ## Frequently Bought Together - TRUFF Original Black Truffle Hot Sauce, Gourmet Hot Sauce with Ripe Chili Peppers, Black Truffle Oil, Agave Nectar, Unique Flavor Experience in a Bottle, 6 oz. - TRUFF Black Truffle Oil - Black Truffle Infused Olive Oil - Gourmet Dressing, Seasoning, Marinade, or Drizzle, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, 5.6 fl.oz - TRUFF Black Truffle Salt, Fine and Coarse Sea Salt, Dried Black Summer Truffles, Specialty Seasoning for A Truly Aromatic Flavor Experience, For the Finest Steaks or Unique Everyday Popcorn (5.3 oz) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/629145647-original-black-truffle-hot-sauce-gourmet-hot-sauce-with-ripe](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/629145647-original-black-truffle-hot-sauce-gourmet-hot-sauce-with-ripe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
