**Q: Hi, could I use this for a metal trough? (Turning it into a pond)**
A: I don't think so. It is primarily for use use on cement and brick. It cannot be used on bitumen or pond liner. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

**Q: Can it be used on tiles**
A: I am not an expert but I would say if ceramic tiles then "no" as it has to soak in to key/ stick. Then second coat has to go on while tacky....plus even though clear it is a yellow resin. I painted onto white walls and now have a yellow pond:( I am considering painting black in future.

**Q: Can I paint a plastic pond that’s leaking please**
A: I would say no, as the dealer cant repair cracks only porous surfaces. So if the plastic has tiny holes, like fabric...maybe. what I would do is either lift plastic and lay butyl liner or empty, clean, ensure no sharp surfaces and but butyl liners on top of plastic. If cracked I would tape crack and put liner down to protect butyl from being cut by plastic...other options is a patch repair of plastic pond.

**Q: Why does it say harmful to aquatic life in product safety?**
A: I've no idea but with all ambulance chasers many products are crazy with disclaimers. I used it as it describes and it did a good job. I've since discovered 100+ one to two inch carp in the pond and the water has been flowing over the 15-20ft cascade continuously so I'm confident ts OK. When you apply it, if a drip drops onto the pond surface when wet, it tends to disburse rather like oil so its I guess possible that's something to do with it. You need to take care it does not hit the pond meniscus when applying. I hope this assists.
