He likes chocolate milk, so I usually give him all white (2%) milk with a splash of chocolate milk for color and to give it a chocolate taste. I followed the directions and used a Blender Bottle. Because I was so concerned about the taste, I tried it for myself first and I thought it tasted like chocolate milk. I gave it to my son, nervously, and he drank it all with no complaints! He has been drinking it every morning for a week now and I have still not heard one complaint. So all I will say is to try it out for yourself. My daughter likes it but my son, for whom I bought this, rejects it, so I won't be buying it again. Honestly, even if he did like it, I would strongly consider just giving him my protein powder instead. I need to look at the study they claim proves this helps kids grow. Unless it's an identical twin study, which would seem unethical to only give one child the protein powder, I don't see how you can make the claim. Sure, if your child isn't consuming enough protein then of course giving them the recommended amount of protein will help them grow. I think their marketing preys upon parents' insecurities about the short statured children and uses their "expertise" of being Physicians as a reason to buy this.
