Works well when the feed bucket is full but as the bucket gets lower in feed, the center of the feed hollows out due to the design of the product, and then the feed won’t come out. The bucket of feed needs to be at least half way full or more at all times so the feed will come out. Also, I suggest you mount it low to the ground or it will spray far and wide. Plus if you have whole peas or other larger bits in the feed, fair warning, those suckers hurt when they come flying out! Keeping it low to the ground avoids it getting enough momentum to hurt. Or you could always put a mesh skirt around the base of the bucket to help prevent the feed from spraying out so hard and far. Overall it was worth the money…. we will see if it continues to hold up in a weeks time.
