**Q: Is it 0.1 microns or 0.01?**
A: Water filter removes 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria and protozoan parasites down to 0.01 microns.

**Q: Can I pass water through it in order to store in a storage container or to cook with?**
A: Instructions say you can attach a water bottle to the screw end and use filter by pressure. If you attach the bottle with water that needs to be filtered, turn upside down and squeeze the water through then you can filter as much water as you like into a separate container. You must squeeze really hard,it's rubbish and you only get tiny drops. Mine is 95% blocked after less than 15 liters. My video on my review proves this is a rip off. Spend a little extra and get the real deal. This is a novel toy 😂 not life saving equipment. 2000liters makes you wanna buy it. Would you rather get 15litets when promised 2000 or 1000 liters when promised 1000? The Sawyer (I'm buying as soon as I get to next checkpoint) uses the proper membrane. This is some rubbish foam. Sawyer used a proper test machine and scientifically tested 1000liters on many of there items. This stupid company just took a wild guess to make it look attractive.

**Q: Any ideas on what brand bottles I can screw it on?**
A: Pretty much any bottle, eg Coca Cola, doesn’t matter if it’s a 500ml or 2l size bottle as long as the lid is the same

**Q: Instructions say not to be used with treated water.  Does that mean tap water?**
A: I suspect it is because treated water has fluoride & other chemicals in it, they would compromise the elements in the filter.  I only use it when hill walking in Scotland and drink from mountain streams and rivers, or large lochs.  I have never had any issues with the filtered water I drink.
