These are quite expensive pens to give to small children to scribble with. **Q: Cheaper felt tip pens dry up very quickly if the cap is left off for some time and often become unusable. Does this happen with this pen. ?** A: No, if you were to leave this pen out for a long period of time it would partly dry, but all you need to do is press it down until the paint comes up again. **Q: Can this be used on shoes rubber midsole & does it stay on as permanent or come off??** A: if this question refers to the Posca Pens, I've not tried that.
