Not winter gloves in that they provide almost no thermal help, but they do keep the wind off, and stop things rubbing. I use them with wrist guards on an EUC, where regular gloves are too thick to work, and they have worked perfectly well for a year or 2 before I started wearing through patches.The skeleton design is not a novelty for me - these are absolutely GREAT for clearly signalling intentions to other road users ! If it subtly implies that death is coming for them if they do not obey my instructions that is fine also. When I ordered a replacement pair I noticed the second pair had various differences in them; A marking or identifying number under the thumb bone decal on both gloves, ventilation holes on the sides of the fingers,a slightly different texture on the back of the hand and a less thick skull decal. However, despite these differences these gloves are still top quality, The palm is a sort of suede material that keeps you warm and dry and provides great grip. The palm side is a technical sort of material that allows moisture to move away from your hand and this is helped by the vent holes in the fingers. The gloves also give great grip and are not over textured thus they don't impede dexterity. The velcro fastening is also perfectly adequate. The gloves are excellent quality and I would say bordering on the high end of mid range gloves for a low range price. They really do fill the holy trinity of Protection, Dexterity and warmth. Used for hiking in all weathers, Airsoft both in and outdoor.
