The pre-seasoned 14-inch cast-iron pizza pan is ideal for quick, non-stick cooking for evenly cooked pizzas with perfectly browned crusts. The versatile pan can be used in the oven, on a grill or stove up to 450 F/ 230 C and maintains heat so that even after you've finished cooking, your food stays warm. Each side features easy-to-grip handles to make it safe and convenient to transport. Built to resist damage and last for years to come, cast iron is easy to care for and intended for long-term use if properly cared for. Measurements: 16 1/2" x 14" x 1 3/16" Other: How to season and care for your cast-iron pizza pan/griddle: Though the pan comes pre-seasoned for a non-stick surface, we recommend re-seasoning prior to first use for optimal benefits. To re-season your pan, wash with hot, soapy water and towel dry immediately. Cover your oven tray with a sheet of aluminum foil to catch grease and heat the oven to 350 degrees. Then coat the pan lightly with vegetable oil or melted shortening and bake upside down for one hour. Once you have seasoned it for the first time, do not wash it with soap again or put it in the dishwasher. Ongoing care: After cooking, wash it with a coarse sponge or nylon brush and hot water only. Dry immediately with a towel or on a heated stove. Do not allow it to soak in water. Re-season every few months as needed.
