Review: Working great even over an year - Very nice product and easy to install , came with proper direction to install. I waited more than year to write this review to make sure I am giving the right review. So even after an year its working good. Kids always play with it as well.
Review: Simple and effective, but you have to have a path for the wires. - I needed a way to see who is at the front door but I did not want to put a viewer through the door. I also did not want to use a smartphone device because I don't always have my phone when I answer the door. I also have no need for seeing who is at my door when I am not home. This device is quite simple. When someone presses the doorbell, the screen is activated and shows you who is at the door. I mounted it right next to my front door. I did not want a battery powered camera because I will forget to change the batteries. This device is powered by a cord that plugs into the wall and attaches to the back of the screen. Another cord comes out of the back of the screen and goes to the back of the camera. Therefore for this to work you have to have someway to route a wire from the outside camera to the back of the screen and from the back of the screen to an electrical outlet. Fortunately, the screen is on a wall which is shared by the garage, so it was no problem to make a hole in the back of the screen and have it go through the wall into the garage. For the outdoor camera unit, I made a hole through the wall and routed the wire around the top of the door frame, then into the garage and then into the back of the camera. I am going into detail here because you need to give some thought about how the wires will be routed. The user manual is poorly written and the illustrations don't completely match the layout of the outlets on the back of the screen. But it was not too hard to figure out where to attach the two wires. I like this device because it is simple, it works, and it is a lot less expensive than a "Ring" type system. The system can support two screens from one camera and can also support a door unlocking device.

**Q: This is for a church.  Can the chime be silent?  We just want a visual picture when someone presses the doorbell.**
A: On mine when i set the chime as silent it also drops the volume down of the person outside, so low that you will not be able to hear them

**Q: Is there any type of motion detection and then notification?**
A: There is no advance motion detection. The system is only active after the door bell button is pushed.

**Q: Hello, can the button be used to activate strobe light instead of chime for those who are deaf?**
A: Not sure if this is possible without being modified by knowledge techinician

**Q: Will the monitor power up without the plug (just wiring) ? I have my house pre-wired for a video camera doorbell but never installed one.**
A: Your situation will not work because your 24v transformer for the existing doorbell is for the outside location. 
These systems need to just plug in the monitor (viewing screen) and the cat6 wire will bring the power to the doorbell camera. So just having the monitor plugged in provides the doorbell power.

I needed a way to see who is at the front door but I did not want to put a viewer through the door. ### ⭐⭐⭐ it doesn't work normally

After installing it today, there were three times when no one rang the doorbell, but it rang on its own. It is certain that the signal is wrong and cannot be used normally. I have to return it.
