Review: Do Not Buy (Died in 4 months with light use) - This at first seemed like a good, sharp recorder. However... In anything but very bright lights, it cannot record a usable image. I mean, even in a slightly dark location you cannot make out anything. I figured I'd just use it in bright daylight or with a bright light, so I did for a few months. I have to use an even cheaper camcorder to video anywhere except the brightest areas. But then, in about 4 months using it only 30 minutes every other week, it died complete. The image last seen would freeze on the screen. No mater what buttons were pushed, closing it, or anything else; it would not respond, not even to the power on/off button. The only way to make it work was to take the battery out, the I had to reset all the dates and times, which was most inconvenient when out making a video. It worked for a few minutes, then died again. When I reviewed the last remaining videos, it did not record the sound but only a garbled background sound. In summary: Zero lower light capability... horrible. Completely died in 4 months with light use.

The video camcorder is great and works very well for our needs. It is very easy to use.

This at first seemed like a good, sharp recorder. However... In anything but very bright lights, it cannot record a usable image. I mean, even in a slightly dark location you cannot make out anything. I figured I'd just use it in bright daylight or with a bright light, so I did for a few months. I have to use an even cheaper camcorder to video anywhere except the brightest areas. But then, in about 4 months using it only 30 minutes every other week, it died complete. The image last seen would freeze on the screen. No mater what buttons were pushed, closing it, or anything else; it would not respond, not even to the power on/off button. The only way to make it work was to take the battery out, the I had to reset all the dates and times, which was most inconvenient when out making a video. It worked for a few minutes, then died again. When I reviewed the last remaining videos, it did not record the sound but only a garbled background sound. In summary: Zero lower light capability... horrible. Completely died in 4 months with light use.
