Today was the first day these mattress protectors were put to the test and liquid went straight through to my bed. Thought it would hold up since it makes noise like you are sleeping on trash bags every time you roll over. Lesson learned - I will test any mattress protectors ahead of time by pouring water into them instead of believing what the manufacturer says.
