The brush applicator works nicely. It doesn't leave any residue. It doesn't obscure the part at all unlike the thicker gel flux. Because it's thin you have the minimum quantity of flux covering the part so you don't get a lot of fumes. The only downside is that the tall but light bottle is really easy to knock over causing a spillage! Decent value for money. *by W***C on 3 December 2023* Works well enough and decent value for money ( I think most flux is over-priced for what it is). It is a little too liquid for my liking and it can be difficult to be sure it has wetted the surface I am trying to prepare for soldering. However it does work. With it being so fluid there is no waste unlike many other flux types which tend to be so thick you can't help but put too much on and the excess will inevitably burn away with the soldering iron for no benefit to me. I haven't used it a lot but enough to convince me to keep using it over my usual flux.
