As its hard to speak underwater, the best way to communicate is either through hand signals or spelling it out on paper. I was looking for a way in which I could propose underwater and found TerraSlate paper. I printed my messages on the paper using a plain home HP Laser Printer (nothing fancy). I rolled up the paper and stuck it in a bottle for a message in a bottle themed proposal. The paper itself seems very durable, it held up in my backpack, bag, rolled up, and hidden in the ocean. There is no bleeding from the printing. The paper is completely waterproof and I ran into no issues while scuba diving in Okinawa. I was worried about the paper falling apart 100 feet under the ocean, but it didn't.
