It was a sticky mess. After learning the prep method, I made the same food. The difference was excellent from prep to taste to clean up. There are no rivets or screw heads inside the pan suface so it's easier to clean. Handle attachment feels solid. I feel these pans are disciplining me to be a better cook in respect to temperature, oil use, and knowledge of materials. For camping, propane use is more efficient now that I know I don't have to torch things. The handles can also be unscrewed for more portability. So far, carne asada, eggs, arepas, and cut potatoes have been cooked. All had a pretty easy clean up. The 9&11 inch pan set is under $40, the best deal in the options.
