I have to laugh. Molasses is sweet. It is mostly sugar. The label also says the only ingredient is molasses. The 10 grams of "added sugar" is just the sugar content of the molasses in 1 Tbsp. It's labeled that way because adding molasses to the jug is essentially adding sugar to the jug. **Q: Does this product has pesticides in it?** A: Just because a product is non-gmo does NOT mean it is pesticide free. In fact, sugar cane is now sprayed in the US with glyphosate weed killer to dry it chemically in the field needlessly before harvest. And other pesticides are used routinely. **Q: How thick is it, and can I thin it with water? I'm using it as thickener for a cleaning solution.** A: Its consistency is a little less than honey. I've never thinned it with water but I can't see why it wouldn't work. What in the world are you cleaning that you would use molasses?? **Q: Can it be used for plants?** A: Molasses absolutely IS used for plants, and is an ingredient in many organic plant foods.
