Anyway, I tried a couple of different construction adhesives, but all required over a day to set, and none of them held the covers in place for long. My ultimate solution was to use Tapcon concrete screws to hold the cord covers in place on my driveway. By the way, after melting a couple of the "titanium coated" Tapcon bits, I discovered that these mortar bits work *much better* when you use an impact drill, as opposed to a regular drill. The impact drill allows the Tapcon mortar bit to drill through concrete and cement pretty quickly without melting. I also poured a little water into the holes to keep the bit cool. Once I secured the cord covers in place with the Tapcon screws, they stopped moving entirely. Several months later, they are still firmly in place. This does make it a little more difficult to do leaf and snow cleanup (since I can't move the covers now) but the power cable is well protected, which is the important thing.
