She uses it daily to cook quick meals for the kids like corn dogs, pizza, French fries, etc., and full meals for her family of five, including fried chicken, bbq chicken, steak, and even cheesecake! The recipe was included in the book that came with the unit. She absolutely loves how it frees up her time, lessening pots and pans clean up and cooking meals quickly. The Elite model has a larger basket, 5.5 qt., whereas the XL model has a basket of 5.3 Quarts. I would recommend this for any size family.
