## Description

We teamed up with Garrett King, aka Shortstache, to create a unique filter combo that embodies his signature photo aesthetic - a Polarizer + Black Mist. Deemed as the “Everyday Filter”, it’s one that combines two sought after effects and one that can stay loaded on your lens. The Circular Polarizer aspect gives the image a sharp clean look, while the subtle mist diffusion adds a slight blooming to the highlights, bringing back a hint of filmic character. Each filter is finished in a Shortstache favored tone of matte green to match his production style and subtly add to your rig’s appearance.

Review: Perfect filter that’s actually improved my images. - I’m always dubious about filters, believing that most effects can be added in post with the original image available to edit in different ways if required. This filter goes against that for me! Just used it on a 5 day trip to Istanbul and seeing the colour and effects from this filter on the image in real time means I’ve edited less than 20% of my images any further than cropping from the trip. I’ve noticed no movement or slipping of the filter even though I’m turning it regularly. While it is really expensive for a little piece of glass I have no regrets spending the money for the images it’s giving me. For those interested I’m using it on a Fuji X100vi mounted on the Haoge filter ring adapter and the original lens cap goes securely over them as a pair without ever coming off.
Review: Great addition to the X100VI - Bought for my Fuji X100VI together with the Haoge filter adapter. Very well made product with the green knurled outer ring to adjust the circular polariser. Polarising effect is quite subtle. The mist effect is quite strong for highlights (as expected) and subtle for evenly lit scenes. It's expensive but as you essentially get two filters in one, I think it's actually good value. Also comes in a nice sturdy case if you were to ever need to remove from your camera (which I doubt I will). Would recommend. Added a photo taken with the filter that is SOOC to show the bloom effect.

Great everyday filter, black mist superb for those soft highlights. Fits well with standard threading. Polariser is easy to use and control. The filter doesn’t cut any light and has good brightness. Not the cheapest but great quality and should last well when used in the field.
