I take reformer classes and it’s significantly reduced the ankle burn on the footwork and running series and my stotts’s trained teacher has commented on how my form has improved. I sprained my right ankle and it’s strengthened it up so my right is my strongest leg again. I’m still extra stiff in my right hip, but it’s dramatically reduced it as I can manage to stretch it out myself. It’s also impacted my running as I hardly ever overturn my ankle. I have morstens toe (my big toes leans in towards all my other toes) and it’s starting to correct that. My running shoes now nip my toes.The exercises I use are mainly from brook silers women’s magazine big book of Pilates and a few off my tutor. I did get the pdf off the company that sold the device, and they’re a good starting place.
