It blends well in my blender, and the sweetness of the fruit plus the sugar in the powder makes the resulting smoothie plenty sweet. I do taste the vanilla flavor, and while I'm not sure I love it, it's fine. Next time I'd probably opt for the unflavored version, and just add a dash of real vanilla extract to my smoothie if I want it. The pea protein hasn't caused any digestive issues for me, but I'm only using it 2-3 times a week at this point. I don't know if it's the addition of fruit as well, but the smoothies I make with this make me feel pretty full and could almost be meal substitutes. It’s a very acquired taste though- I make it into a protein coffee shake and add a little sugar and it makes it taste a bit better but no complaints bc of the amount of protein and also how clean of a product it is. If you're looking for a protein powder to possible use alone with milk I would not recommend. To make it taste good you need to add sweeteners in addition to fruit which defeats the purpose in my opinion. Good thing about it is that its cheap, but would not purchase again due to taste. I'm using protein powders as a meal replacement and for post-workouts, the taste alone made me take a break which isn't ideal, so if you need something to keep you on track in your journey, this isn't the best choice.
