It is without a doubt, high quality and it is strong, at least to my taste. I used a level tablespoon of ground whole bean per cup. I will reduce the amount of coffee to water to see if it is more palatable to me. Worst case, I'll blend it with another whole bean brew. I'll buy more. Brian paid a huge price personally, serving this nation in the military, and, in my humble view, he is a true patriot because he continues to serve this nation every day. If you like a powerful brew of java, buy this. So, I have grown up around coffee and have seen its production from the ground up. I consider myself a pretty good judge of coffee.I was quite pleased with the full bean version. we got with Military Grade Coffee.It has a rich strong, smooth flavour without any of the bitternes often found in strong brews.
