I am very happy.I bought 4 of the 36" shelves. All matched perfectly and none were damaged. Phew!Installation was as easy as could be expected. Have a good level on hand and follow the golden rule: measure twice, drill once (I measured 4 times easily). All 4 shelves were clearly factory manufactured, so all were exactly the same. All the brackets were identical and I managed to align all 4 perfectly. They each sat flush against the wall as expected. Yes, there is a very slight tilt up, which they acknowledge as intentional. It is barely perceptible, and besides, it is the way it is supposed to be. Getting the shelves on the bracket can be tough, as the poles may need to be pulled apart into the holes, but that only makes them more sturdy when done. For any of the reviews who said they did not mount well, I can pretty much guarantee that they did something wrong, either with not setting the anchors right, and irregular wall, or something else. I am 4 out of 4 for a perfect install.I followed the recommendations of others and used my own hardware to install. The anchors they supply are not ideal, and I showed them to the specialist at my local store and they agreed. I used #8 "EZ anchors" (the large white spiral kind the screw it, not drilled and hammered in) and 2" #8 screws, all readily available for a few bucks total at your local hardware store. On two of the shelves, I luckily had one hole on each bracket that lined up perfectly with a stud. On the other two, I was not so lucky. For those, I mounted the bracket using all 6 holes and anchors, located the stud, and drilled right through the bracket (to be clear: while mounted) and then screwed a large screw right into the stud. These shelves are not going anywhere! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great shelf. Exactly what I needed *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2017* Great shelf. Exactly what I needed. Ordered 2 and one came with a flat paint on the top vs semi gloss. Strange that they are different paint.Tip. If you are finding the shelf is a little wobbly. It's the thickness of the posts to the holes in the shelf. To fix tape the poles with some painters tape to add thickness. See photos below. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good overall, but may need a little extra work to install *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2019* After comparing several, similar shelves, we opted for this one. Overall, it was relatively easy to install and works fine. The shelf is light weight and hollow, and corners can chip easily (be cautious while installing). I agree with other comments to use you own hardware, as the provided will make large holes in the wall that are not necessary. The key is to get one (or more) screws into a wall stud. We had a limited space to install it (above refrigerator), and the the holes in the support bracket did not align to wall studs. So, after setting the height and wall location, I put a drywall screw in the center hole to hold the bracket in place. I then located the wall studs, and marked the bracket. I removed the bracket and drilled new holes for screws to go into the studs (it's carbon steel and easy to drill). I used long wood screws to mount the bracket into studs, so it is very sturdy. Also, the bracket is not very straight and the two support posts seemed to be bent upward a bit, so the shelf is not quite flush with the wall (photo). Not sure why this is, but it may be intentional or a manufacturing quality control issue. A heavier load will flatten it out, but our is relatively light, so I pulled down on the shelf to get it flush while I installed the set screws, and that seemed to help.
