True Grit Leather's rugged distressed style duffel travel luggage bags are all built to last the test of time. All genuine vegetable tanned goat leather is 3-4 oz, processed to withstand almost any condition. Features include; three pockets, adjustable shoulder strap, hand carry handles for convenience, and durable canvas lining. Goat leather used for these bags is still processed in the traditional ways that have been around for generations. It is not processed by use of chemicals or dyes but by traditional methods of sun tanning and hand done vegetable oil polish. The leather also gets softer with age and develops a unique texture and finish. New leather smell will fade after 2-4 weeks of use.

This bag is completely rotten and by that I mean rotten as in useable! The leather has not been tanned correctly and the canvas lining has been glued with some awful product that will not dry. We have tried everything to sort it out - hanging it outside in dry sunny weather, right side out and inside out. We tried a dehumidifier in our drying room - you name it we have done it but to no avail it is still a seething bubbling mass of damp to wet leather and canvas.
