(My fault and I know better than to shop in a hurry.) It is a pocketbook, not a "large tote shopping bag" but it would fit my needs IF the handles actually were LONG as in the description. Unless you are very thin, you won't be wearing this over your shoulder. I can only assume that the photo is of a child mannequin. Otherwise, the purse is fine, well made, well protected when it arrived. It just will be relegated to my "wear once in a blue moon" pile instead of as the "go to" indispensable travel bag I had hoped it to be. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really like the bag *by T***A on September 3, 2016* I really like the bag. I wish it was a little bigger; however it great for both school and work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ More bag than tote *by E***D on November 18, 2016* Bag arrived very timely in a box within a box. It was a little smaller than I was expecting...the straps just fit on my shoulder with a bulky coat. I was also planning on carrying a binder in this and it isn't quite big enough for that. It has three compartments inside. The middle compartment zips closed and the two outer compartments snap securely shut. There is also a small zippered compartment in one of the side compartments and two smaller pockets in the other side compartment. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a smell but it isn't one that I mind and it has nearly dissipated in the three days I've had this bag. I like the look of this bag and I'm especially glad no cows were harmed in it's production.
