Tested it on the cigarette lighter and it worked perfectly, so I hardwired it in and installed a switch to make it all look sleek. Not a problem with it at all.Also it works fine with my Ford Focus vertical-style air vents. I didnt, for example, expect fast wireless charging but this mount offers that.Another feature I really like about it is you can drop your phone in it and it automatically grips the side of the phone, so theres no adjusting or pulling up spring loaded grips.The only downside I can see with this mount is that at this price point it should have come with the option the mount it on your dash with suction cups, this one only comes with air vent clips.
