It feels good and sturdy. It was also very easy to fit. I would happily buy another one if needed. My old letter box was a horrible cheap looking brass item. This has lifted the look of the door and has made it feel brand new. The old one was 10 inches and this is 12 inches so I did need to cut an inch wider either side of the letter hole. Very easy to do with a saw. And the fixing holes were very easy to make with a drill. I can't comment on how well it will last but it feels like a high quality item and the finish looks top quality. Review: Reassuringly Expensive - Quite expensive but a really decent quality that looks the part and seems like it will last. Easy to fit (although had a second person to help) and fitted perfectly as a direct replacement for a flimsy existing one that had a bit broken off the back. Doesn't seem to let any drafts in.
