Review: Mostly Better than Expected. - I bought this (10 inch model) for a small LAN closet that gets way too hot in Summer, reaching 40C on hot days. The size of the room is 4 by 8 feet. An A/C unit is not feasible in tis room. I set the fan's sensor to kick in when the temperature reaches 26 C. It blows my mind how fast this fan decreases the temperature to 25 C. Literally in about 30 to 40 seconds on a hot day (30 C outside). My only gripe (minor) is that the controller that comes with the unit is not as sophisticated and flexible as the ones that come with their A/V and rack mount fan systems. It still does what I need though, and I was fully aware of this so no points taken for this. Overall - very happy with the purchase, and highly recommended.

**Q: Can installation be reversed, to supply exterior air to the interior, instead of exhaust interior air?**
A: It will only work if exterior side its not exposed to the  elements.

**Q: Is there a way to attach a screen to keep insects from coming in?**
A: It would have to be on the inside so as to not block louvers

**Q: Can I put it in a bedroom window???**
A: yes

**Q: I have it installed in a bathroom window. With the winters coming the gap is letting in lots of cold air. Does anyone have an idea to plug the gap**
A: I cut a piece of foam pad insulation 2” thick to fit into the opening over the back of the motor, works great to keep out the weather and insects

I bought this (10 inch model) for a small LAN closet that gets way too hot in Summer, reaching 40C on hot days. The size of the room is 4 by 8 feet. An A/C unit is not feasible in tis room. I set the fan's sensor to kick in when the temperature reaches 26 C. It blows my mind how fast this fan decreases the temperature to 25 C. I'll agree with other reviews. I've had one of these running in my crawlspace for 2 months now, and so far the quality seems to be matching the price point and I've really appreciated the features. I've been wrestling with crawlspace humidity concerns, and the programmable nature of this fan is quite helpful, along with the on-screen programming and even more the bluetooth interface. I didn't think I'd use that, but to be honest, it's simply easier to use for setup, configuration and reconfiguration. Furthermore, the charts for temp, humidity and fan status have been excellent for understanding the interactions between the fan and the environment. this has become as much a tool for me to use for problem-solving as it has a fan. As others have said, it's quiet until you get to the top third of its range, and then it still seems quiet for the amount of air it moves. mine is very well balanced, doesn't rattle, and just moves air. the blades look like the cheap metal blades found on anything else, but however they formed and balanced them seems to have more care/workmanship than the other offerings out there.
