Review: This is fabulous - If you like trains, this is for you. I bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my grandfather. The big boy has been my favorite train. I was a little disappointed that it isn't the 4014 (the only big boy still running today) instead of it being the 4023 but that is from a train nerd. Beware this thing is HUGE. I was so shocked at how big it is!!! It is gorgeous and for an off brand Lego set, it is a good price. It is a little difficult with the instructions but, you end up using all the parts they give you. The model ends up being 2 ft 5 inches when you finish it so find a good place to store it!! I had a lot of fun with this and will buy others!
Review: Great model of one of the great steam locomotives - My fellow ferroequinologists will enjoy putting this model together. The Lego-like assembly is unique and works very well. I found the detail of the finished model to be pretty exact compared to the real thing (#4004) on display in Cheyenne WY. I do find it interesting that the recommended ages on the box for this model are 6+ and 15+ (odd combo), but I'm hear to say that it is easy to mistake the correct color, size, and orientation of many of the 1600+ pieces. Good thing it doesn't require glue...word of caution - pay close attention to the picture (no written) instructions. All in all - it's worth the money.

If you like trains, this is for you. I bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my grandfather. The big boy has been my favorite train. Much to my excitement I was not expecting it to be as large as it was quite enjoyed assembling this train I like the ones challenging and a little time consuming I spent about 7 hours total on this I will be adding lights to it in the near future
