I love storage ottomans because they are easy access to hide little things, such as books and movies. I currently have my dvds in the ottoman and it is great. The ottoman is foldable so when I don't want to use it, I can just fold it and put it in the closet. My only concern is that the fabric on the bottom seems a little flimsy.
