At first it was a little to fluffy but it flatten out a bit in 2 months where my head is closer to the bed and the pillow feels great. I ordered the normal size one because I like to put my arms under the pillow when I sleep on my stomach. I did wash the cover for first use for peace of mind on sleeping on fabric chemicals. I also put a pillow cover.
