Also have normal side pockets. Downside--almost no room in the seat. I'm 170 lbs with a 32 inch waist and all of my shorts are size M. These shorts were okay through the waist, but the crotch area was too snug and the seam on the rear rode right up between my butt. Buy them a size larger than you would expect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are the shorts you're looking for *by J***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2016* These shorts by Salmans Men's Micro Mesh Running Shorts 7" are exactly what I was looking for, anyway. We've had a string of 90+ degree days and running has been uncomfortably hot. Even when not running, walking and working in cargo shorts has become uncomfortable. My other running shorts are either too long with adequate pockets or short, but with limited pockets (think coin/key pouch rather than true pocket). With a 7" inseam, these shorts fall a few inches above the knee, are lightweight (mesh/tech-fabric), and provide extra relief from the extreme heat while featuring full-sized hip pockets. That means I can wear them for walking around when I'm carrying money, change, a cell phone and a wallet.
