Easy to use, just turn it on and point, not much more to it. Definitely turn wavemakers off to stop surface agitation, other wise you’ll cause light ripples which will make the numbers jump all over. Be mindful of the version you receive. The green dot sticker on the box will indicate which you have with the ones that have the green dot on the front being the newest and most accurate.
