Before Marvis, toothpaste was toothpaste, I stuck to big brands and never considered that toothpaste could have a luxury counterpart, that is until I changed to Marvis. The texture, the feel, the thickness and creamy sensation is properly luxurious. One you have experienced a tube of Marvis, you will find it very difficult to go back to those other well known brands, quite simply Marvis is such a nice experience you look forwards to it, almost like a treat! It is a fluoride toothpaste, so that's covered and means you can use this to replace your previous brand. Freshness / effectiveness - all gets a tick, because it's a treat to use it, you inevitably brush for longer, that means your doing an improved job than previously. Whitening - Well, don't they all make claims? I suppose it depends on how much tea, coffee, red wine you drink or if you smoke, I think the effectiveness of all whitening toothpaste is the user, this is no different to the brands. Cost - Look, a big brand in fancy packaging will cost you upwards of £10 a tube, but it won't give you the same "Experience" as Marvis will. Therefore I think its worth the price. It is a little bit of personal luxury and that is worth a premium.

This and the licorice ones are my favorite. They are great on the freshness and the after taste and keep my teeth nice and white. Love them, but can see how the licorice one can be very user specific lol. But great if you do like !
