**Q: can you use the vest for weight plates and if need to change out to amor plate ?**
A: I bought the Echo Rogue weight plates for this vest. It’s a great vest.

**Q: What is the best way to wash these?**
A: I just took the vest apart back front and waist bands and toss into machine. Not the wire release. Open up pouches when done and hung to dry. Workes great

**Q: How much total weight**
A: Depends  on how much weight you purchase

**Q: Can vest be made to weigh 45 lbs for arduous pack test?**
A: Add more plates to build up the weight.

This weighted vest is very well made and comfortable, but if you are past a size XL, it simply will not fit you. I tried it on completely empty (without the plates) and could barely get into it. Once you actually install the weighted plates, forget it, it's not going to close or hold together. I really like the quality, but unfortunately, if you have a larger build, you will have to look elsewhere.
