Β My reason for buying this duvet was to have natural, renewable and sustainable fibers. Polyester, which is man-made filling, is in most comforters and duvets, it circulates air poorly and I get overheated by the middle of the night. The silk in this duvet, on the other hand, is breathable and I sleep cooler under it.The zip up liner is also natural woven fiber and removable, if needed, for washing. I opened the zipper and felt the silk inside, it is ultra soft and evenly distributed.
