Review: Great little grippers. - These clamps are ideal for holding items on the spoilboard. The angle which the jaw comes down presses the workpiece against the mounting surface. I use a ball-headed Allen screwdriver to operate them and it makes it much less awkward than an L wrench. Being made from metal, they are sturdy and strong. Use them sensibly and they are ideal for work-holding. They are small, so do not expect them to hold large pieces of metal with heavy cuts but I have successfully used them on 50mm thick hardwood on a 400 x 400mm spoilboard. They are shallow, allowing for good tool clearance. All in all they have been a welcome addition to my workshop.

These clamps are really good. Obviously they ain't going to clamp steel to well as they are made from aluminum but they are ideal for soft metals and wood.
