## Questions & Answers

**Q: You say to use 4 lb.s per 94 lb.s cement. Do you really mean 94 lb.s of concrete? In most pre-mixed bags, there's probably only 20-30 lb.s of cement.**
A: 4 lbs of color with 94 lbs of straight portland cement, so if you using a premix, or you are adding aggregate;, pea pebbles, rock, gravel etc to your mix then you must calculate only on the cement, not the fillers. ie; 1 LB of color for 25 lbs of cement

**Q: how to apply or use?**
A: Instructions are included in package and on the webpage or contact seller however I mix it as advice. Also check what concrete you will be using. Sometimes you need to add more pigment to certain cement. No the pigment problem is just different cement type which make it sometimes lighter.

**Q: I have a few bricks on my chimney that need to be patched. Any suggestions as to the best mortar/cement to use?**
A: I am a founder and Board member of an arts academy which is located in an historic school building (circa 1880 - 1896). Our brick are soft and we are told by the TN Historical Commission that we must use soft mortar pigmented red. I can send you the recipe, but unless you have a very old house you should consult a brick mason. I am not one. Good luck on your project.
Ray Hardig(

**Q: Is this pigment soluble?**
A: Yes, it is also quite good quality and really hard to remove if you use improperly (which means it is good quality, right..) I used it with concrete mix. I am just not certain about long time UV exposure (not sure if it will change color) otherwise was pretty good.
