Review: Great grammar work book. - This book is not for total beginners, rather for students who already know the basics of grammar and quite a bit of vocabulary. If you're learning on your own outside a class environment, this book can help you with some ideas and prompts to practise your Finnish. Review: A good grammar workbook. - This is a useful workbook if studying Finnish but I think it is for a level somewhat beyond rank beginner. One of the first exercises is in consonant gradation and has no explanation of what the student is required to do or know. It seems to assume a fair level of competence already, so I must put it to one side until I have progressed sufficiently. However, looking ahead, it does appear to build grammatical skills and vocabulary as well as suggesting various home-study techniques. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 434,557 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 834 in Vocabulary Reference 916 in Grammar, Structure & Syntax 3,355 in Language Training by Language | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 111 Reviews | ## Images ![Finnish Tutor: Grammar and Vocabulary Workbook (Learn Finnish with Teach Yourself): Advanced beginner to upper intermediate course - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/710ldgq9EzL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great grammar work book. *by U***S on 28 November 2023* This book is not for total beginners, rather for students who already know the basics of grammar and quite a bit of vocabulary. If you're learning on your own outside a class environment, this book can help you with some ideas and prompts to practise your Finnish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good grammar workbook. *by G***E on 6 June 2020* This is a useful workbook if studying Finnish but I think it is for a level somewhat beyond rank beginner. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not comprehensive - But very good examples. *by H***Z on 20 December 2018* It's difficult to evaluate a language grammar book, except by the expectations fulfilled. I might have imagined a more comprehensive content, but what has been presented is both practical and well explained. The challenge with a language like Finnish is its complexity and subtlety within that complexity, but I feel this book deals with enough subject matter to make it an asset. I gave it 5 stars because of the balance it achieves with the subject matter covered. ## Frequently Bought Together - Finnish Tutor: Grammar and Vocabulary Workbook (Learn Finnish with Teach Yourself): Advanced beginner to upper intermediate course (Language Tutors) - Complete Finnish Beginner to Intermediate Course: Learn to read, write, speak and understand a new language (Teach Yourself) - Finnish-English/English-Finnish Dictionary & Phrasebook (Hippocrene Dictionary & Phrasebooks) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/63714445-finnish-tutor-grammar-and-vocabulary-workbook-learn-finnish-with-teach](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/63714445-finnish-tutor-grammar-and-vocabulary-workbook-learn-finnish-with-teach) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
