The entire device feels very heavy duty, and is functionally attractive. The 1/2" reinforced hose pulls out with minimal effort, and retraction so far has always been strong and complete. I mounted it to the exterior wall with the enclosed hardware, and the swivel feature allows me to fold it back parallel to the wall when I am not using it. This item is today the same price when I bought it almost a year ago, and is an excellent value for this product. I am very glad I bought it.
