Best browning pans I have ever owned!
I never write reviews, but feel that you have to know that these fry pans are the best pans I have ever owned. They cook beautifully...brown up foods wonderfully and they are no stick, safe and easy to clean. As with any pans you should preheat long enough (4-5 minutes) before adding fat and the pan will become non-stick and ready to go! Again, the best pans I have ever bought...and I have tried them all (and wasted a lot of money)!

Quality for the Price. Still requires Correct Preheating Method. Better than Stainless?
The media could not be loaded. I’m all about finding a nontoxic alternative to chemical coated nonstick pans. I got this set of 2 fry pans for about $50 during Prime Days.I am happy with the weight of the pans, I was worried they would be thin and light but they feel good in the hand and a good weight. The handle is very comfortable.I did the pre seasoning, which was simple overall. I used avocado oil. Oil doesn’t appear to smoothly cover the surface, but it’s fine, it does leave enough to season the pan.It takes higher heat to get up to temperature than my SS fry pan. It will take some experimenting to find the sweet spot for the perfect heat for this pan.It will basically be nonstick If the pan is preseasoned and preheated properly. If it’s not hot enough, food will stick.Have your food ready. In this case I was making scrambled eggs.Learn how to do the “mercury ball” water test to determine when the pan has reached the right temp for nonstick. The picture shows the water to have bubbles in it - it’s not up to temp yet. If the water (1/4 tsp) sizzles, bursts, scatters, boils off, the pan is not hot enough. The video shows the how the water basically is like a mercury ball floating around on the pan. The pan is now at the correct temp.Wipe out the water drop and add your oil, butter, tallow, lard. Only a little is needed about a 1/4- 1/2 tsp. Add food as soon as oil is heated. I used bacon fat. Oils/fat add flavor and healthy oils don’t need to be avoided. My scrambled eggs came out perfectly cooked and didn’t stick to the pan at all!All good! I anticipate these pans will sear a steak to perfection.I love that metal utensils can be used and there is no coating that can peel off.Realistically though, these are not nonstick as we tend think nonstick pans should be - super slick pans with the historically toxic chemical lab created coating. I personally don’t trust that the “safer” nonstick coating of today are completely safe. Just my opinion.Learn how to properly use them and they will be nonstick but not the super slick like modern nonstick pans.I don’t know if the pans will become more slick with more pre seasoning, like a cast iron pan. Time will tell.Overall, I don’t these will work for people who want to throw food in a cold pan with no oil/fat and expect it to slide around the pan like with the chemical nonstick pans. They will work for people who are willing to learn or already know about preheating pans.I’m on the fence if they will be a replacement for stainless steel. As mentioned before, the cooking diameter in the pan is surprisingly small compared to the outer diameter, but useable for how I use the pans. One thing that would really help would be for Guy Fieri’s website and the instructions is to have more info on preheating the pan to the correct temperature and long term maintenance- such as do these need to be seasoned again as time goes on?

So far so good
It's very very hard to find affordable non stick cookware that doesn't have any chemical/toxic coatings. Most companies that make ceramic cookware use fear mongering to overcharge for their products. Although this company doesn't (yet) have any third party tests out there to confirm it, this seems to be on one of the best options...hopefully they can confirm with testing that is really is non toxic. As for performance, yes they are non stick. Another reviewer stated they are not, but that's untrue..any pan in the world needs oil or butter or some kind of barrier between the pan and the food, or else it's going to stick, I don't care how good the pan is..so don't set your expectations too high with this, or any other pan for that matter. If you are worried about fat, then use an avocado oil spray or something similar. The instructions state to "season the pan" before use..I did so because I wanted to make sure I can maintain whatever the warranty is, but to me this is a gimmick (hexclad does the same thing). If a pan is non stick, that means it can't absorb anything..so what would seasoning do? Cast iron needs to be seasoned because it is pourous and you need to create a barrier, I don't see why a non stick pan would need to be seasoned, it would just wash right off with the next cleaning.Overall it's a good pan, especially at this price point.. we'll see how it holds up

Probably the best cookware set, dollar for dollar, on the market right now.
The media could not be loaded. I made a video to support this review, as I really am a true believer in this cookware. I am an at home chef/cook, and love to cook. I cook all the time, it's kind of my thing! So while I was somewhat skeptical of the laser-titanium label, it made sense to me. So I decided to give them a try, and I am glad I did.Incredibly complete set, solid construction, with perfect heat conduction throughout.I definitely recommend seasoning, as I did on every piece in the set.The end result is amazing release properties and so far nothing has stuck. What's most amazing, in my opinion, is the price point: I did happen to get mine as a Black Friday special, but if you're patient you will find these pop up below $300. And for a set of this size and quality that is just so unexpected.Check out my video and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.Happy cooking!
